Compost Giveaway
Compost Giveaways are for Milpitas residents only. Up to 4 bags can be claimed per household. Each household must present a photo ID showing their Milpitas address and either bring a signed waiver form to the giveaway or sign a waiver form once there to receive their 4 bags. Carpooling is allowed!

Neighborhood Clean-Up Days are Back!
A total of five (5) neighborhood clean-ups will be held in 2026. Please check the image to the left for dates and locations, as well as general guidelines for items that are accepted and items that are not accepted at these clean-up events. Each household is limited to participation in one clean-up event per year and can bring up to one pick-up truck load to the event. Must make an appointment to attend.
Appointment RequirementsPlease make sure to bring an ID, proof of residency (utility bill), and sign-up reservation confirmation when you arrive at the date and time of your appointment. If you show up without first making an appointment and/or don't bring an ID, proof of residency, or confirmation of your appointment, you may be turned away.
